P 'n' P story – Helping you to create your fabric narrative

Hi, my name is Natalie and I am the founder and maker at Pinch 'n' Pleat. Pinch 'n' pleat has been evolving behind the scenes for many years. I studied printed textile design and embroidery at university. I have always had an obsession with fabrics, colour, texture and pattern and my designs always encompass a narrative. My degree, followed by a diploma in interior design, lead me into making a career in the interior design industry. Allowing me to work directly with clients to create spaces that resonate with each individual. This taught me how important environments are, that people surround them selves with; in particular your homes. Environments are fundamental to your wellbeing, as much so as food and exercise.

After I received my diploma in the manufacture of curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, I began my making journey. Everything is made in my home studio based in the Oxfordshire. I specialise in made to measure window treatments and soft furnishings, totally bespoke and hand crafted for a luxurious look and feel. As well as tailoring the manufacturing process to each individuals needs and budget. My passion and hope is to work with people, assisting to make design choices that resonate and express themselves to enhance their habitats-

I provide a complete curtain making service, especially for you. From the initial consultation to the final installation. I endeavour to offer the best service I can, from the quality of the materials, fit and the care with which they are created and installed, whilst remaining conscious of our environment with the ultimate wish to create beautiful artisan items that last a life time.
